About Me: I'm newly married and moved to Georgia with my husband! We have 2 kitties: Zoro and Juno. I enjoy going to the beach, hanging with my friends and relaxing with my husband.
My Experience: I started my childcare career in high school through dual enrollment classes. After high school I attended Glendale Community College to take classes in early childhood education and earned my certificate in the foundations of early childhood education. I have 4 years of childcare experience, as well as my CPR & First Aid Certification! My favorite age to work with is toddlers, but I am experienced in infants through school age children!

I strive to do as much as I can to help your child developmentally. Over my time as a lead teacher, I have a "Mary Poppins Bag" of activities ranging for every age group! I'd love to work with your family to figure out what is best for your child(ren)!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I've learned that the most important part about being a babysitter, nanny, childcare teacher is that communication is KEY. I believe that closed mouths don't get fed. I love telling parents about their children because we ALL need to be on the same page! My best interest will always be in your child, as well as your boundaries. These conversations build trust, further building a strong foundation for everyone!

My experience with special needs children...

Throughout my growing experience in childcare, I have had the opportunity to work with children on the spectrum. I am no expert in ABA therapy. However, I do have approaches I've used in the past that have been helpful. I believe that it's best to get to know the child with special needs more before an approach is taken.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was recently watching one of my friend's baby girls. She was opening and closing a cabinet repeating, "Open! Close!" The cabinets had her pacifiers in it, and she put one in her mouth. She's side eyeing me while she puts it in her mouth too. As soon as she puts it in, I ask her "Oh, so you're ready to go night-night?" She kind of fumbled taking it out of her mouth but she put it back SO quick!
