More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have years of experience caring for children of family members and close family friends along with 3 months at a Daycare, where I developed strong skills in supervising, entertaining, and supporting children of different ages. Through this hands-on experience, I have assisted with meal preparation, diaper changes, bathing, bedtime routines, cleaning and organizing, and creating a safe, positive environment. I am patient, dependable, and able to stay calm in high-stress situations while ensuring children are cared for with attention and compassion.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in fun, creative, and educational activities such as board games, coloring, arts and crafts, pretend play, and playing with dolls. I also enjoy incorporating learning games and activities that encourage mental, emotional, and physical growth for infants and children. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and interactive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while feeling comfortable and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is ensuring that every child is always safe, comfortable, and well cared for both mentally and physically. Safety means making sure the child’s environment, surroundings, and everyday items are appropriate and secure for their age group. Comfort goes beyond basic needs like hunger or temperature — it also means helping children feel emotionally safe, relaxed, and comfortable with me being involved in their daily routines and more sensitive situations without fear or hesitation. Being well cared for means doing my best to support the child’s overall happiness, health, growth, and emotional well-being while providing a nurturing and balanced environment where they can feel loved, supported, and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited professional experience caring for children with special needs, such adhd, autism and sensory needs. I am more comfortable assisting some low-risk children due to my patience, caring nature, and certification in First Aid, CPR, and emergency response for all age groups. I understand the importance of providing a safe, supportive, and attentive environment, and I am always willing to learn and follow parents’ guidance to ensure the best care possible. However, because I am still gaining hands-on experience, I currently feel most confident working with children who require lower-risk or less intensive specialized care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when me and all the kids played the floor is lava! We grabbed soft blocks to jump on as the floor became all sorts of crazy things like slime or a spin wheel. Some of the kids would jump on the same block as me and grab me for safety. One time i got caught in the lava and "died" so they all dog piled on me we had so much fun laughing and playing!

Its so hard to name just one so short add on i loved playing cook the hot dogs the kids would lay down i would tickle them (sizzle the hot dog) them flip them and tickle again. They would beg me to do that one all the time!
