"Catherine is a wonderful caring person. She is a good caring mother and you can tell. Having her children over, was wonderful. My oldest loved having a playmate. It engaged her creativity and taught her how to play nice. Catherine set herself apart from other sitters by leaving our home cleaner then we left it. Preforming tasks like sweeping, mopping, dishes, and laundry! She made us at easy by updating the children’s activities and responding to our texts. She quickly adapted to our little families needs. When I had specific guidelines for my breast milk handling and she never skipped a beat. She never showed up late which made things a lot easier on my part. Overall, having her to watch our littles was a very delightful experience. "

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for my cousins since they were born. Growing up as the oldest of 8 grandchildren I have spent my life around babbies and significantly younger children. I have experience caring for sibling sets, in addition to my own children. I'm used to organized chaos and little ones going in every direction simultaneously. I like to take the time to get to know any child in may care in order to learn their specific needs and unique personality.

I have experience with sleep (I beleive in cuddles and comfort), feeding, potty training, cuts and bruises, breastfed and formula fed babies, baby sign language, and of course multitasking. I have been CPR and first aid certified but it is currently out of date.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing legos, puzzles, building forts. Outside time with snow in the winter, mud boots in the spring, and kitty pool in the summer.

Apart from safety, having the children feel loved and respected for who they are.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been around and briefly cared for autistic children and teens as well as those with ADD and ADHD. I beleive in learning each childs specific needs and finding an approach that works for the specific individual.
