I go by Ms. Emmy and have been working with children for 10 years now. I started as an assistant and substitute teacher at the Child Study Center while I completely my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (licenced K-6 teacher). I worked as a nanny for the next few years until I began as a lead Pre-K teacher at Ashley Academy. I love to help kids develop a love of learning by using their strengths and interests to make connections with what they are learning in school. My goal is to have a little more freedom and control over my schedule than what full-time teaching can provide. I am a single mom to a wonderful 4 year old little girl, and am hoping to find a position that is flexible enough to juggle my responsibilities at a full time mommy as well.
