A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Channell Arteaga, I am a 24-year-old college student at the California State University of Northridge. I graduated from Pierce College in Spring 2020 with an AA in CSU General Education-Breadth certification, AS-T early childhood education, and an AA in General Studies. Before COVID, I was a teacher assistant volunteering at Nestle Avenue Elementary School in their daytime Preschool Program for two semesters. I am the oldest of 6 siblings, so I grew up having to learn how to take care of children since the age of 11. Because I had to grow up so young I never got the opportunity to work in my field. I had to work a 9 to 5 until I was able to move out. Now that I am settled, I am more than ready and motivated to work with preschool-aged children. Thank you for this opportunity have a great day!
