A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Charisma, I’m a 25 year old Early Childhood Education major at Skyline College. My hobbies include reading, writing, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I’ve worked in childcare for 7 years now, working with ages ranging from 6months to 12 year olds, holding job descriptions such as preschool teacher’s aid, and preschool school teacher. My responsibilities included arts and crafts, homework tutoring, planned curriculum, feedings(bottle&meal preparation)/diaper changing/potty training support, basic supervision.
I am also certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR, California Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, and Pest Management.

I am a bay area local. Growing up with a big family I’ve always enjoyed being surround by children and working in this field has helped assure me this is something I want to pursue as a career. Kids just want to have fun! And to set up a safe environment for enjoying and learning is always the goal!
