My name is Charity Maguire, I live in a small town called Peru. I am 25 years old, and I am looking to nanny a family during the full time. I have worked in childcare for 6 years with a variety of age groups. While also nannying most summers. I went to college for a Marketing and business administration degree. My dream is to open up my own daycare business. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and watching them grow! I am CPR and First Aid certified, I know how to cook and prepare meals. I would help with light cleaning and plan fun activities throughout the summer!

I have worked at two different daycares in the past five years as a lead teacher and support staff. I have volunteered at my church teaching at Sunday school and at VBS. I have also nannied during most of my summers and have worked with kids ages 6 months-12 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside going on walks, to the park or even just playing in the back yard with my kids I’ve nannied. On a rainy day, where we are stuck inside I love doing crafts, watching movies, or building forts with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s making sure the kids are not only being safe but they are having a blast! It’s important you care for them allow them to make mistakes because they need to be able to learn from those mistakes! I also just love watching them grow and learn new things!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are when the children ask me questions and we have little talks about whatever topic! Another nanny moment I love just seeing them learn, understand, and grow!
