A little bit about me

HI Families!
I am currently looking for a full or part time nanny position. I am available beginning immediately. I have been nannying for the last 5 years and was a babysitter for 3 years prior to that. In highschool I was a lifeguard and feel confident with children at the pool. I have my CPR/ ADD/First aid training and several references if you are interested. I take care of all things child related i.e. preparing meals, cleanup, laundry, etc...as well as all the FUN things like going on outings, arts/crafts, swimming, baking, exploring, playing pretend, etc. I am currently registered with nanny and babysitting companies in Nashville, but have since moved to Knoxville and am looking for new families! I have always been around kids. I have been a helper in the nursery at church, a lifeguard, and a camp counselor.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love both hanging out at the house or planning activities and going to them. Whether it's playing a game of uno at the house or taking the kids to the pool, I am very comfortable doing whatever!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think this question goes along with my favorite story from being a nanny. I love being apart of a family and creating an environment for kids to grow. I love being a friend and preparing activities for us to do together.

My experience with special needs children...

One of the families I nannied for had a 9 year old son who was autistic. I babysat him all through highschool and up until I left for college.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a lot of fond memories of nannying. I think one of my favorite recent memories was when one of the families I worked for was moving so I was helping them move. Anyone who has moved knows how big it is and how stressful it is. As I helped the kids pack away all of their belongings in their rooms to go start their lives again I was so grateful for the years I had with them. To watch them grow into such unique smart outgoing kids. I was so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of creating an environment for them to do that.
