My name is Chenel Bridgewater, and this would be my first time sitting with kids outside of my immediate family. I worked as a summer counselor at the Bessemer Recreation Center in 2024. This year I started working at the YMCA working in summer care and after-school care. I am passionate about engaging with kids and creating a safe space for kids to grow. I have trainings for DHR that is active and also in fingerprints, TB screening I’m currently in school earning an associate degree in child development and plan to further my education in school psychology.
