Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 5+ years experience in caring for children! I have worked at numerous children day camps, worked at Laity Lodge (an overnight camp) for a summer, and have also done full-time nanny work as well as part-time babysitting. I have experience with kids of all ages, as well as children with disabilities. Caring for children is what I love to do, I would love to meet you and your family!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing any kind of outdoor and indoor games with kids! I am boisterous, energetic, and imaginative. I love playing make-believe or virtually any game kids think up! I love to do scavenger hunts, read stories, video games, crafts, and have a large variety of fun activity ideas!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with several children with autism; a few years ago I worked a weekly science day camp in which I stayed one-on-one with a young girl with autism, and I have babysat multiple children on the autism spectrum. I myself have ADHD, so I enjoy communicating with other neurodivergent children. I know what it is like to be a child learning to cope with being neurodivergent, and love to help when I can!
