I’ve volunteered for the past two summers as a junior camp counselor at Pal Camp and last year I became a cheer instructor for Six Rivers Youth Football & Cheer, which helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills while also creating positive experiences for kids. My 3 years of student leadership experience has strengthened my organizational skills, ensuring everything runs smoothly. I regularly babysit for family and friends, giving me hands-on experience in managing different familys needs and routines. In addition I love cooking and baking, and with my background in culinary arts I could meal prep or even make dishes. I enjoy making meals and treats that kids can help with or enjoy. my experience with special needs children is limited, but while volunteering at pal camp for three weeks, I was assigned one child instead of the typical eight and she has special-needs and my job was to be with her the entire day take her inside when feeling either overwhelmed overstimulated or just needing a break. I would sit with her during snack and lunch
