I’m a proud auntie to six amazing kids between the ages of 2 and 8, and I’ve been hands-on with them since birth especially my niece and nephew, who are now 2 and 3. I regularly help care for them when their parents need a break, along with their 8-year-old brother. I also have two younger sisters, now 9 and 10, who I’ve helped raise over the years. These experiences have given me strong skills in everything from toddler routines and playtime to helping with homework and creating a warm, structured environment. Growing up in a big family taught me how to be patient, dependable, and genuinely loving with children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in a variety of activities that help support their growth emotionally, socially, and mentally. To keep them well-rounded, I enjoy doing creative projects like arts and crafts to encourage self-expression, as well as reading books together to build strong language and thinking skills.

I also believe in the importance of physical activity whether that’s playing outside, dancing to music, or going on nature walks to help them burn energy and develop coordination. I like including simple learning games and puzzles to build confidence in a fun and engaging way.

Overall, I aim to create a healthy balance of play, learning, creativity, and structure so each child feels supported, curious, and confident in who they are becoming.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and a genuine connection with the children and their family. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where kids feel valued, heard, and supported every day. A nanny isn’t just a caregiver they’re a role model, a friend, and someone who helps children grow into confident, happy individuals. Patience, kindness, and consistency are key to making that happen.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have direct experience working with special needs children, I am naturally nurturing, patient, and compassionate. I believe every child deserves love, understanding, and support to thrive. I’m eager to learn and adapt to meet the unique needs of any child in my care, and I’m committed to creating a safe and encouraging environment where they feel valued and comfortable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I haven’t worked as a nanny before, I’ve had the joy of caring for my niece and nephews as an auntie. One of my favorite moments was when I did my niece’s hair and nails for the first time. Seeing her light up and feel so pretty afterward really showed me how much these small acts of care can boost a child’s confidence and happiness. It’s moments like these that inspire me to be a loving and attentive caregiver.
