More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Worked at a church daycare about 10 yrs ago for a few years until it closed down. I was lead teacher in 6 wks- 1 yr olds. I currently babysit sit a 13 year old special needs girl on occasion; I started with them with them 3 years ago. Ive taken care of great niece and nephew and my autistic nephew when he was a little guy. Plus of course my own children who are 24 and 15.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Whatever makes the little ones happy...floor play, hide and seek, art, coloring, patty cake, take walks, go to the park, tell jokes and laugh...just have fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love children, especially babies. I miss mine being little. I love the little a-ha moments and first steps and learning new words. I love their little belly laughs and their excitement at the smallest things. Children make my heart smile!
My experience with special needs children...
My son has adhd, I have a nephew on the autism spectrum, and the young lady I watch currently on occasion is non verbal and blind.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Anything that makes them laugh. There is nothing that makes a heart happier than a childs laughter!
