The most important part about being a nanny...
To make sure you know where the child is at all times. Don't ever spank or hit a child no matter what happens. Always be kind, smiley, never yell, be very compassionate, loving, caring, I always ask the parents what the children are not allowed to do. Make sure food is not too hot or too cold, Hold on to young children's hands while going or coming down stairs, Always hold a child's hand and maybe even an older child's. Never leave a dirty diaper on a baby or young child. Use common sense and if in doubt call the parent.

Have a daughter with Cerebral Palsy and is high functioning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When my adult kids were in elementary school i worked for a babysitting agency and i took care of a 4 year boy who was in a car accident with his father and because of his injuries he was in a body cast. i had to do everything for him. I know he was getting tired of being in the house during the Spring so i would put a blanket and pillows in his wagon and we would go for walks. He loved it and so did i to see him so happy. I lived 2 blocks from him so we would go in the wagon to my house so he could watch cartoons with my children. They all enjoyed it. It was such a rewarding job that i will never forget.

I have been s nanny off and on since 2005, from part time baby sitter style to full time, go on vacation with you, do your laundry style including all ages from newborns to teens! I finished my bachelor's degree in history in 2015 and moved to Sacramento (where my fiance is from) to be close to friends and family with our baby.
