Hello! I'm an RN with my BSN. I have been an RN for 6 years. I am CPR certified (BLS & ACLS cert.). I have nannied/babysat children of all ages from newborn-17 years old. I also take care of the elderly. I take care of disabled children and adults. I am very comfortable with children with special needs as I have had a lot of experience. I have my own car for reliable transportation. I have a flexible schedule as I am a PRN nurse. I just finished a travel contract and am trying to find part time babysitting/nanny jobs. I can do housekeeping, cook meals, meal prep, wash dishes, do laundry, any household chores. I can take children to their sports practices, out to lunch, etc. I have 3 dogs, we enjoy hiking and camping together. I love music and reading. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor for a summer camp for children with diabetes. The campers were ages 5-16 years old. It was a fun camp where children could connect with others dealing with their same disease- Diabetes type 1 or type 2. I am a registered nurse of 6 years with my Bachelor's degree. I also worked alongside an elementary school nurse for a full school year. I helped with first aid, lots of ice, bandaids, sniffling noses, upset stomachs, and I helped with the clerical side of doing the paperwork and collecting their vaccination records. I also tutored students for 4 years in science classes. I have nannied and babysat for ~10 years, all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts with kids, I think it's so fun to see their creative side. I also like being active and doing outdoors activities with kids like the pool, throwing frisbee, kicking a ball around, any sports. I am open to doing/playing whatever your children enjoy doing the most :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

To make sure the child/children are safe and happy. I strive to keep a positive, healthy, safe, happy environment for your babies/kids/teens :) Their safety is # 1 to me!

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for special needs children and adults in my nursing career. I also have a cousin with Down's Syndrome whom I am very close with and have gotten experience over the years with his lifestyle and routines.
