The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for surprised me with a drawing they made just for me. They excitedly handed it over and said, “This is because you’re my favorite!” It was such a sweet and genuine moment that reminded me how much of an impact caregivers can have on a child’s life.

Another favorite memory was having an impromptu dance party in the living room. We turned on their favorite songs, danced like nobody was watching, and laughed nonstop. Seeing their pure joy and excitement made the moment so special.

I also loved teaching them how to play games like UNO and seeing the excitement on their face when they won for the first time. Their proud little victory dance made it even better! Baking something new together was another special moment—seeing them light up after tasting a treat they helped make was priceless.
