A little bit about me

Hello! I am Chloe, I am 18 years old and I graduated from Norton in '23. I have babysat for many different kids and I have also been taking care of the same family for many years. This family plans to move out of state for a job opportunity and I would like to share my skills to help out parents in need. I take care of every child I meet and treat them like my siblings. I have a strong connection with children because they remind me of simpler times. I love to be creative and I enjoy watching their little minds work. Many children are so imaginative and it puts the biggest smile on my face to hear about their battles with zombies or tea parties with princesses!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered for the iCan Bike Camp in June of 2022. In this program, I was able to help kids with all types of learning disabilities learn how to ride a bike. Many of those little guys just needed to find the courage and motivation to believe in themselves! It was so heartwarming to watch them do laps without me at the end of the week. It was an amazing learning experience and I definitely plan to do it every year!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

While inside, I love coloring pictures with kids that are older than 2. I also enjoy playing dress-up, doing mini tea parties, playing with cars, or doing a little spa day. If it's nice outside, I love taking kids outside for sunlight and to get their energy out! I play catch with them, we take walks around the block, I push them on bikes/scooters while I hold the handlebars, I enjoy doing water-balloon fights, and I also like taking them to places like the zoo or the YMCA.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the children are happy and healthy is the most important thing to me as a nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had been babysitting this little girl since she was born. I was not having the best day, I was very overwhelmed with my grades and upcoming tests. I started walking down the basement stairs to do laundry, and from the living room, I heard her say my name. It was not very close to accurate, but it really was perfect.
