I studied Elementary Education for two years at Boise State University, which gave me a strong foundation in child development, patience, and creative learning techniques.

I’m an active and outdoorsy person—I love fishing, hiking, yoga, and Pilates—and I enjoy bringing that energy into my time with kids, whether that means outdoor adventures, crafts, or simply staying engaged and present. Family is very important to me, and I value building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment where children feel supported, valued, and free to be themselves. I believe in building genuine connections with the children I care for, while also maintaining open and reliable communication with parents. It’s important to me to not only keep children safe, but to positively influence their growth—emotionally, socially, and developmentally—through patience, consistency, and encouragement.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child I cared for finally gain confidence in something they had been struggling with. We had been working together on their reading, and at first they were shy and unsure of themselves. Over time, through patience, encouragement, and making it fun, I saw them start to believe in themselves. The moment they read a full page out loud with confidence and excitement was so rewarding—not just because of the progress, but because of how proud they felt. Being able to support and witness that kind of growth is what makes working with children so special to me.
