When I love spending time with my kids and any child I get the opportunity to work with! I believe quality time builds trust and friendship, and during that time I usually let the kids take the lead! I love how kids think and imagine providing terrific play ideas, to explore together. On my free time I enjoy painting, arts and crafts, gardening, and rollerskating/bike riding/skateboarding! So I love to teach kids anything about those topics when given the chance.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've worked babysitting children in the neighborhood as well as my younger siblings. Allowing my to work with newborns at the age of 13 and helping the grow onto elementary school!

I've worked as an associate teacher at an after school program caring for children ages 5-12. (2 years experience)

Ive worked at a gym daycare, caring for children ages 3 months-9 years old. As well as taking on all janitorial duties needed. (1 year experience)

And my latest job was at a state preschool working with children ages (3-6), where I worked for 1 year until I moved to Gatesville.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy getting the kids involved in what they enjoy playing, and after i get to know the child I try to think of games to introduce them to based on their personality. I also like the kids to get to know me and what I like to do so when given the opportunity I would teach the kids about my hobbies such as painting, arts and crafts, rollerskating/ skateboarding/bike riding, gardening.
Overall I would say the activist I enjoy doing with kids depends on what me and the specific child enjoy doing together. For example my 4 year old and I don't enjoy playing tea party together but my 6 year old and I have a blast when the tea set is out! And my 4 year old and I will stick to playing hot wheels together!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The impression you leave on a child, take advantage of the opportunity to teach/ guide and be a friend to a child. This is the time they need the most support.
