I babysit whenever a job is available and work on a first come, first served basis. I have been providing child care for over 15 years. I have cared for a variety of families, with children ranging from 3 weeks to 23 years of age.
I have also worked at the Director at a 9am-5pm summer day camp located in Farmingdale from [phone number hidden]. Our campers ranged from 5-15 years old. Before that I worked at the same camp as the program director from [phone number hidden].
I spend the school year educating middle school students in a self contained setting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
To keep children away from the phone, computer and television, I love spending as much time outside as possible with them. Going on walks, playing at the park or in your backyard, swimming at the town pool or your personal pool; it’s important to stay active and fun!
I also plan activities that help the children learn and develop, such as art projects and games based on what you have at home. I also engage the kids in healthy conversation to build their self-confidence. I believe it is imperative to provide positive reinforcement and lead by example.

My experience with special needs children...
I enjoy working with Children with disabilities and tend to seek out those jobs in particular.
I have cared for children on the spectrum, children with Down syndrome and for a few who are non verbal. Ages ranging from 10 years old - 23 years old.
