More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting for local families and providing attentive, responsible care. I have experience supervising children, helping with daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, and planning engaging activities. I have also assisted with homework, bedtime routines, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for children of different ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading books, helping with homework, playing games, and creating fun, engaging activities that encourage learning and creativity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to learn and grow. Building trust with both the children and their families is something I value deeply.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a few years of experience working with special needs children. When I was younger, I regularly cared for a family friend's child who was nonverbal and had autism. That experience taught me patience, adaptability, and how to communicate effectively with children who have different needs and communication styles. It helped me become more understanding and confident in working with a wide range of children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when a child was having a rough day and didn't want to go to sleep. I sat with him, read him a book, and helped calm him down. While we were reading, I taught him how to say "apple," which was a special moment. Afterward, he felt more relaxed and was able to fall asleep peacefully.
