More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun, hands on experiences for kids and coming up with art and craft projects that let them be creative and express themselves. I also enjoy taking them to the park, pool, animal sanctuaries, museums, playgrounds, or out on hiking and nature trails. I’m always happy to get outside and explore, whether that means going on a little adventure, playing in the grass, having a picnic, or looking for interesting plants, bugs, and animals.
Even on a quiet day at home, there are so many ways to have fun! I enjoy playing board games and imaginative games, reading books, baking or cooking together, doing puzzles, building forts, or coming up with creative or educational activities based on their interests. I love finding ways to make everyday activities engaging and educational while still making sure the kids are having fun. Whether we’re out exploring or simply sitting in the grass with a fun game or activity, I’m always up for making the day memorable!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is getting to be a part of a child’s growth and development. I love watching children learn, gain confidence, reach new milestones, and evolve into their own unique little people. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I can play a positive role in that process by encouraging their curiosity, helping them learn new things, and being someone they can trust and feel supported by.
I also believe that some of the most important lessons we can teach children aren’t academic—they’re about how to treat others and navigate the world with kindness, empathy, patience, and respect. Being able to model and teach those values while watching a child grow is one of the most meaningful parts of being a nanny to me.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for a mostly nonverbal child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have developed a lot of patience, attentiveness, and flexibility when working with children with different needs and communication styles. I understand the importance of meeting each child where they are, paying attention to nonverbal cues, and creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can feel comfortable and confident.
I enjoy learning what makes each child unique and finding activities that are enjoyable and accessible to them, whether that involves arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor play, reading, music, exploring nature, or simply spending quality one-on-one time together. I’m comfortable adapting activities and routines based on a child’s individual needs, interests, and comfort level.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Asheville, NC: Danielle M.
Hey there! I am an energetic nanny who loves nature, doing crafts, and playing games. I love kiddos of all ages and am looking for a family that I can grow with! I am currently a massage therapist who is cutting my hours due to a shoulder injury so I am looking for part time work but am open to meeting families who need full time work as well. I am also certified in mindfulness and meditation, if this is something the family feels like their child would benefit from I am more than happy to incorporate little fun meditations during our day together. I have many years of experience watching different age groups of children and have helped raise my niece since day 1. I am comfortable with housekeeping, homework help, and pets! Can't wait to meet your family!

Full-Time Nanny Available in Asheville, NC: Skye J.
I am a 15 year old honor student with reliable transportation who is looking for a new family to help care for. My child care experience ranges from 6 months to 10 years. I love cooking a wide variety of foods and I’m comfortable with light house keeping but would like my main focus to be on the children. I am available from 12pm-8pm on weekdays and from 8am-8pm on weekends. Could arrange to stay later for an occasional date night. Could also arrange to come earlier on weekdays if you’re comfortable with me doing online school while also watching them. I’m also very comfortable with any type of pets. I have several references that you could feel free to call as well. I have not been exposed to anyone with COVID and I am extremely COVID safe. If in the future either of us were to become exposed, I would expect that we would share that information with each other.
