A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Christina and I’m currently a preschool dance teacher. Formerly in Missouri, I was a 6th-12th grade choir director for 3 years.

My passion for teaching and children has always been one of my greatest strengths. I speak Spanish as well, not quite as fluently as I’d like, but am seeking to get a certification in Spanish education.

In my free time I value health from the inside out and am currently taking a neurodivergence course specializing in ADHD and Autism. I am very musical both vocally and instrumentally and value teaching through movement/art/expression.

In my previous school district, we were trained on BIST, a trauma informed behavioral system that helped deescalate behavioral outbursts, to communicate and effectively assist students in navigating their emotions through behavioral challenges.

I have a deep level of empathy and as someone that was diagnosed with ADHD late, I value helping children find routines/resources that improve overall health.
