A little bit about me

Hi there! If you're looking for a fun, caring & responsible nanny, hit the brakes - you've found one! My name is Christine & I have over 20 years experience with kids ages 0-16. My background ranges from preschool teacher, nanny & house manager, and I've supported key milestones such as potty training, early speech, social development & school readiness.

I'm a fun-loving personality who loves to engage kids, make them laugh & feel loved. I also like to teach & be their cheerleader in the process. I'm a self-starter who anticipates needs, thrives on managing routines & keeping schedules, rolls with the punches & finishes with a smile that all is done.

Here are some bullet points, as well:
● Safety-conscious & safe driver
● Take pride in my work
● Dependable
● Patient
● Gentle
● Loving
● Considerate
● Respects your home
● Team mentality. Happy to follow your lead, uphold rules.
● Organized (can reorganize rooms, too)
● Excellent letters of recommendation
● Proof of background check

the story.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is first & foremost, of course, but that's just the beginning. There are so many other things I'd want for a child besides just being safe. I'd want them to experience everything possible so that they'll be healthy, well-rounded & happy, too. I think some of the things that help make that happen would be a nanny who believes in & practices...
● Developing relationship, not just rules
● Love & affection
● Consistency
● Upholding rules, but balanced with lots of affirmation
● Structure
● Lots of learning
● Humor & time for fun
● Exercise
● And communication with parents!
And there's much more, I'm sure, but I believe those are really good building blocks.

I absolutely love what I get to do for a living, so if you're ready for an extra set of hands with experience, let's connect & explore the possibilities. Looking forward to hearing from you. 🌞

My experience with special needs children...

I'm very good at adjusting to needs & individual personalities. If your little one has special needs, I'm capable of learning as I go & giving you support with patience & cheerfulness.

Experience:
● Babysat for a 7 year old autistic boy (high
functioning.)
● Cared for a mentally disabled adult & also for a physically disabled adult. Both had conditions where they remain at the level of a child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids always seem to enjoy my engaging personality & cheesy sense of humor. It's been a great way to connect with them & that just really warms my heart. It also paves the way to be able to relate on more meaningful levels... the moments when they open up, need some comfort, kissing of booboos, or a little encouragement. So for me, it's a joy to build relationships with children. And if I hear them ask when I'll be back again, that's it, I'm a puddle, lol.
