Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have three years of experience working in a Montessori school, caring for children ranging from infants through age 6. This experience has given me the ability to adapt to the unique needs and routines of different age groups. I have managed classroom schedules, created engaging and age-appropriate learning activities, and provided individualized care for younger children by following their personal routines and schedules closely. I have also worked one-on-one with children through Montessori activities, developmental exercises, and sensory and motor-skill activities. In addition, I have assisted with preparing a variety of snacks and meals and supported the school with administrative and organizational tasks, giving me experience balancing childcare with professional responsibilities.

I love creating a mix of fun, creative, and educational activities based on each child’s interests and age. Indoors, I enjoy Montessori-inspired activities, arts and crafts, reading, sensory play, baking, music, puzzles, and imaginative play. The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine, trusting bond with each child. Every child is unique, and I love creating a relationship where they feel safe, understood, encouraged, and comfortable being themselves. Through my experience working in Montessori education and studying Child Development, I’ve learned that children teach us just as much as we teach them. I want to give each child opportunities to learn, explore, try new things, build independence, and experience the world in meaningful ways. To me, being a nanny is more than providing care—it’s being a positive, dependable person in a child’s life while growing and learning alongside them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience supporting children with behavioral needs through my work in a Montessori classroom. I have helped children navigate challenging behaviors, big emotions, transitions, and conflicts by using patience, consistency, redirection, and age-appropriate support. While my experience with special needs care is limited, I am open to learning and growing in this area and understand the importance of adapting my approach to each child’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working closely with parents and caregivers to maintain consistency and provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
