A little bit about me

I love kids....I love watching them grow and learn new things. There's something about seeing things thru a child's eyes that puts life into perspective. The last experience job listed there says "0" kids - that's because I was the Director of a licensed childcare center and had 82 children I knew, loved, and cared for - ages ranging from 6wks to 12yrs of age. As Director I got to have my hands in everywhere, and found that I love working with the kids and helping & encouraging the parents more than the "desk job" of directing....so here I am, looking to go back to the simpler version of individual childcare - rather than a center.
The in-between times of my job history - I have always kept active in my home church's children's ministries - teaching, crafts, nursery, etc. I also volunteered at our local elementary school in an afternoon program....
My availability is flexible. Sundays are the only day that I prefer not to work as I have previous commitments....
