More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently work as a 1:1 aide for a non-verbal student with autism, supporting them throughout the school day with communication, social skills, and daily routines. I’ve also babysat for families with children of various ages, including those with special needs, where I helped with everything from playtime and meals to bedtime routines and homework support. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, creative, and flexible while always keeping the child’s needs and comfort first.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, playing games, reading stories in fun voices, going on nature walks, and having dance parties. I also enjoy helping with learning activities like practicing letters, numbers, or social skills in a fun and encouraging way. Whether we're building Legos, baking something simple, or playing pretend, I always try to make our time together creative, playful, and full of positive energy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust—not just with the child, but with the whole family. Kids thrive when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and I believe being that steady, supportive presence can make a big difference in their world. It’s about more than just supervision—it’s about nurturing their growth, cheering them on, and showing up for them with patience, consistency, and love.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children has been incredibly rewarding and has taught me so much about patience, understanding, and different ways to connect. I currently work one-on-one with a non-verbal student with autism, supporting them throughout their school day with communication, daily routines, and emotional regulation. I've also cared for other children with developmental delays and sensory sensitivities, adapting activities and environments to meet their needs.
I’m comfortable using visual schedules, non-verbal communication tools, and creating calming, structured spaces that help children feel safe and confident. I approach every child as an individual and truly enjoy celebrating their progress—big or small. Supporting special needs children has strengthened my ability to be flexible, observant, and deeply compassionate.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when a child I was working with—who was usually very shy and non-verbal—grabbed my hand and led me to play without any prompting. It was such a small gesture, but it meant the world to me because it showed trust and comfort. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do—being a consistent, caring presence and building that special connection with a child is the most rewarding part of this job. 💛
