A little bit about me

I’m a recently retired teacher with over 30 yrs experience with children. I’m anxiously awaiting grand babies to spoil, but it may be a while. Lol. I will celebrate my 31st anniversary this year with my wonderful husband whom also loves children. I have one grown son and precious fur baby. I’m only seeking a part time position so that I can travel occasionally. I enjoy engaging in play time and learning time with children to help them develop in all areas while being sensitive to emotional needs as well. I love the outdoors as well as being creative with art. I try to make as many daily life activities as a learning experience and building blocks for little ones. It is wonderful to see them advance and grow! I love them like they are my own! I find it’s important to have good communication with the parents as well in order to meet the needs of the child.

Teacher 30 yrs and 9 month part time position for toddler. I have also taught Sunday school for many years and assisted in the nursery. I’ve helped with numerous vacation bible schools as well.

I enjoying playing outdoor games and some sports as well as taking walks. I love to take them to the many parks in our areas to play and have picnics. Indoors I enjoy doing hands on learning such as age appropriate art activities, puzzles, and reading books. Also it’s fun to help them learn daily life skills such as simple chores.
