A little bit about me

I am 53 years old. I have son son that is married and grown with 3 grandsons.
I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. I was a infant room teacher for 10 years. I have worked will all ages of children including school age during summer programs. I have also been a childcare director. I went back into the classroom working with children because they were my passion. Being a director was fulfilling but I missed being with the children in the classroom. I feel the first 5 years of a child’s life is the most important. I feel if they begin their lives with love, nurturing, and learning experiences in the beginning it sets them up for a bright future. I feel they need to feel safe, loved, and nurtured. They also thrive with schedules and being consistent with those learning experiences while teaching them independence, while teaching them coping skills. Helping them learn how to communicate their feelings!!
