Hello, my name is CJ Polk and I am 20 years old. I attended Girls Preparatory School for high school and am currently switching career paths in college to pursue my practical nursing license in 2025. I have been a camp consoler since I was in the 6th grade and continued to work camps until my senior year of high school. So, I have experience with children of all ages, but I mainly stuck with the younger kids (ages 0-10). I am also the oldest sibling of three and got to experience living with an infant since I am 10 years older than my brother which has helped me tremendously with babysitting jobs. I have a puppy named Jett and two family cats so, I am also used to being around animals and housesitting/petsitting as well. I do have housesitting/petsitting recommendations if that is a service you and your family might be interested in, as well as childcare and babysitting recommendations as well. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I loved to do arts and crafts with the younger kids when I worked summer camps because they're able to create things they can keep with them forever! I am also super active and grew up in a very active household so I love to do outdoor games and play sports with the kids as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny or just working with children in general is having and leaving a positive impact on them. I run into girls who I had in my GPS summer camps when they were 4 and 5 years old who are now in middle school, and they still run up to me and give me hugs and their parents still thank me for making sure their girls had great summers. I think knowing you left a positive impression on a kid and their family is not only the most important thing, but also the most rewarding.
