Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do arts and crafts with kids on warmer days. My favorite arts and crafts activities are making fun animal masks, painting, and doing drawing competitions.
When outdoors, I like to make slime (I do this outdoors because it gets a bit messy) and I like to play fun games. On warm days, I think its important to get outdoors and ride bikes around or even play with water in the yard.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is to make sure the kids are happy, healthy, safe and entertained.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with special needs children at a camp called OCA and also in an organization at my school called PITTCREW.
My experience is limited with special needs children but I have worked with kids who have autism and down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I love to play outside with my kids and one day I decided to take my girls geocaching. We rode our bikes around for a while and then decided it was too hot so we got in the car. We spent the day running around looking for hidden treasures and ended the day getting Ice Cream from McDonalds. I love this moment because I saw the joy on their faces the whole day and it was very fulfilling to know I was a part of that day's joy.

I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2019 with years of experience working at afterschool programs and as a preschool teacher. In 2020, I moved to Spain on a Fulbright grant where I privately tutored 5 children and worked as an English teacher at an elementary school. This year, I work as a 2nd and 3rd-grade teacher at a progressive private school in Connecticut and I am now looking to move to DC and hoping to build a wonderful relationship with a family.
