I currently babysit for two wonderful families and have been surrounded by kids my entire life. I’ve also had the opportunity to help one of my past teachers with her baby at school events, as well as care for the children of friends and family. Being around kids has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy every moment of it.

I love taking the kids out for walks, trips to the park, and visits to local museums—especially the children’s museum! I’m always open to new activities, as long as we have parent permission. I also enjoy asking the kids what they’d like to do, because I believe it’s important for them to have a say in how they spend their time and to feel excited about our adventures together.

The most important part of being a nanny is understanding that while I’m not the parent, I have the special privilege of caring for their child. My role is to ensure they feel safe, loved, and have everything they need to grow and thrive. Open and honest communication with parents is also essential to providing the best care possible

While I don’t have formal experience working with children with special needs, I strongly believe that every child deserves kindness, respect, and to be treated just like everyone else. I understand that some children may have different needs or limits, and I’m more than willing to work closely with the family to provide thoughtful, supportive care that helps both the child and family thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments as a nanny are when I feel the kids growing closer to me. I love building a bond with each child and creating a warm, happy environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. Seeing that connection blossom is so rewarding, and hearing from parents that I’ve become “their person” truly means the world to me.
