I love kids and I treasure every opportunity I get to both teach them and learn from them.
On top of being an Auntie to 13 nieces and nephews, I have lots of experience working with kids.
From babysitting, to volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, to teaching many violin students, to working at summer camps and with group homes, to being an Au Pair in Florida, to experiencing motherhood myself -- children and family have always been one of the most important parts of my life!!

Being homeschooled, I've realized that the most important education happens outside of the textbooks (although there is a time and place for those). I strongly believe in learning through play, reading, and exploring the outdoors. Every experience is an opportunity to learn something valuable!
As a musician, I appreciate all things creative! I love to do crafts and encourage the imagination of young minds.
While I've never been very good at sports, I do love to participate in physical activities/games and encourage kids to do the same!
