Hello! My name is Clare Wilkins! I was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Washington, and I moved to the area last year to attend UNLV. I’m now going into my sophomore year, working toward my degree in Elementary Education! I’ve been a nanny back home for three years and before that, I babysat for multiple families. Last year I also worked for the UNLV/CSUN Preschool. I truly love working with children and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment. I’m so excited to meet you and your family! "Clare has watched our four kids since they were little and did a fabulous job. She’s great with kids of all ages, and is an excellent influence on young children. While babysitting she was tasked with helping them with their 4-H projects and assuring they were getting their chores done while also helping them with activities (sports/swimming lessons/working with animals etc.). Clare exceeded our expectations when it came to working with the kids. She always had ways to keep them busy and get them outside to explore and learn new things. Clare’s ability to connect with the kids was incredibly helpful, especially with our youngest who can be a challenge at times. She was great at communicating when there was an issue and would let me know how she handled it and would ask for ideas on how to help/correct behavioral issues. Clare was very dependable and would always communicate ahead of time if she had a scheduling conflict. She has a great work ethic and attitude."

I also worked at the UNLV/CSUN Preschool last year!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything outdoors! Whether it’s going on a walk, spending time at the pool, or simply enjoying a day at the park. I also love teaching kids new games and activities and watching them get excited while trying something new!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is not only the positive impact I have on the children, but also being a supportive, trustworthy, and reliable person for the parents. I want parents to feel confident knowing that their children are in good hands and that they can always count on me!
