The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I was watching a 3-year-old Marie and I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up… and she looked me dead in my face and said, ‘A cat.’ Then she spent the next 20 mins crawling around meowing and refused to answer to her name but only to ‘Princess Whiskers.’ So of course I had to fully commit too, and we ended up having a whole conversation as cats . It was hilarious, but also a reminder of how imaginative kids are and how important it is to meet them where they are and make learning fun.
