I am a semi recent "transplant" to East Tennessee from New England and a mom of two young adult sons. I have over 20 years of childcare experience and have worked with all ages and abilities in both the daycare and in home settings. I went to school for medical assisting when my boys were little , worked within a hospital for a few years, and realized I really enjoy helping and growing with families of young children , so I returned to being a nanny. I believe in learning through play, experiences, and reading. I enjoy engaging kiddos in outside activities and adventures, facilitating play dates and outings to encourage socialization, and extend their creativity through crafts and imaginative play. I help to create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment and I am a healthy combination of structure and flexibility to meld within any family dynamic.
