In schools I have been both a teaching aid and a primary teacher for traditional classrooms for ages 5-13. My teachers aid work has been primarily as a small group instructor for struggling students, where I would use adaptive and focused strategies to tutor kindergarteners and second graders.
As a teacher I taught basic financial skills to students all throughout middle school and elementary as a volunteer for Junior achievement.
My most recent experience was as a youth soccer coach where I gained the majority of my professional training for interacting with children. Here I gained skills in conflict management, developing motor and social skills, and maintaining a fun and energetic personality.

When working with kids I love to get them outside and away from screens. Playing soccer is activity that kids love to do when it's nice out, and if not then reading is another one of my go-to's. I also have a range of activity books for different ages that I can let kids pick out what they would like to do out of set of options dependent on weather and energy levels.
