I’m a married mom of two adult children. I have child care experience for 10+ years, being a live-in for 3 of those years. I’ve done occasional jobs for up to 4 children at once, ages newborn to early teen. I’ve also worked in early education as an aide for 2-3 years. My most recent job has been for 1.5 years with a military family, caring for three children, ages 4, 5, and 7. I prepared meals, helped with schoolwork, drove them to and from activities, provided creative fun, and did light housekeeping. I’m flexible, positive, compassionate, personable, and comfortable with pets. I’m willing to help with errands. Also, CPR certified, with knowledge of basic first aid. My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with children in wheelchairs. I’m experienced with vital signs, administering medications, catheterization, G-tube feedings, monitoring medical issues, and following proper procedures (such as hand-washing/ other protocols). Familiar with ADHD; OCD.
Knowledge of some sign language; lip reading.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was in my car with my young charge (of about a month), and I hear him say, “I love you.” My heart swells up and I say, “That’s so sweet, E******. I love you, too!” To which he replied, “I was talking to my pajama bottoms.” 😐😅
