I am a strong believer in teaching emotional intelligence and literacy. People who are involved in younger aged individuals ought to invest in their future by reading and teaching them in all ways that they possibly can. If knowledge is power, then giving children the gift of reading is setting them up to be kings and queens.

My experience with special needs children...

I am able to help with kids who have autism. I am also more than willing to help with other special needs within my realm of capability.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I babysat a 3 year old boy who would rarely speak, but he had the most expressive face in the world. He would "eat" your nose/arms/legs and make the loudest eating sound. It was a battle to keep my nose, arms, and legs near him! No more smelling and walking for me. >.<
