I volunteer at Vacation Bible School at our church as well as other church camps that travel across the state to work with young kids. I have been babysitting/nannying for 5 years now. I also grew up watching my siblings and cousins, as I am on the older end of my family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy being outside with the kids as much as possible! Whether that is going to the park, going on walks/scooter rides or even just playing fun games in the yard! If the weather does not allow for outside play, I enjoy playing any kid-friendly games to keep the kids happy and busy inside!

The most important part about being a nanny is providing children with a childhood that they will remember as one of the best parts of their lives. Unfortunately, kids today do not have the pleasure of enjoying their youth because of the dangers that are in our culture. My goal is for the children I watch to feel safe and loved when I am with them. Giving them a space to learn new skills and play games is so important. By providing them with a fun and safe environment, my hope is they can experience their childhood to the fullest!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was watching one of my regulars (a very shy little girl) looked at me in the middle of our game and said "I love you, Miss Corinne! Can I give you a hug?" I don't think I will ever forget that! Definitely one of my cutest experiences!
