Hello my name is Corinthia Ortiz. I am a bilingual middle age empty nester that has dedicated twenty seven years of my life to the youth of Detroit and their families insuring that they are exposed to opportunities that others have around the world. Caring for the young people advocating for them and mentoring has been very important. I believe in being punctual and empathetic at all times. Willing to take on new tasks has never been an issue growing is a must. With that I have extensive training in first aid first aid mental health and CPR by way of the Detroit Health Department. also In 2015 I started a private chef/ catering service Corinthia's Cocina Consulting LLC in which I take much pride in preparing fresh healthy meals and juice for my clients as well along with meal prepping. I enjoy traveling to warm climates and when I'm home teaching culinary skills to first time business owners. In conclusion I look forward to working with you and your loved ones.

My favorite "nanny moment" was when I was coloring(doodling) with two toddler siblings and one stood up and took her first steps and the other followed behind. I was so proud of them. Definitely a heart warming moment.
