I worked in a daycare for about 2 years as a floater, and spent time in each classroom. In addition to nannying, i've been babysitting and doing part time care for almost 10 years!

I love to get involved in whatever activities the children seem to enjoy. Whether thats playing board games or doing arts and crafts, or going outside for a walk or playing in the back yard!

The most important thing about being a nanny is truly being passionate and having a love for what you do. I take a lot of pride in caring for children, and I think it's so important to be invested in what you do.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with a family full time for about a year and a half. The little boy had Cerebral Palsy and Apraxia of Speech. I would accompany him to his speech and occupational therapy appointments, as well as work side by side his preschool teachers to help him with his learning while we were home during the pandemic.
