A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Courtney and I’m a junior at Miami University. I am currently majoring in political science with a minor in social justice and inequalities. I have been a regular babysitter since I was about ten years old. I started babysitting my two younger brothers and then moved on to babysitting kids in my neighborhood, and then spending my summers working in a daycare. Recently I have been a full-time nanny, M-F for about eight hours a day. I am experienced in daily virtual learning assistance and preschool/primary school education. Children are a huge part of my life and I really have a passion for caretaking! I have been primarily using the nanny app 'Bambino' , which is where are my references are, but I decided to make a switch and I can send them to you upon request :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outside with children. I also really love to incorporate daily mindfulness activities with children because I feel that mental health in young minds is so important! I enjoy regular crafting with kids as well. I put a lot of emphasis on their creativity because that can help with school too! In my recent nanny experiences, I also liked to do daily yoga.
