I just want to care for your kids as you would. I want them to feel safe, loved, and have fun while I am watching them. In the end, I think it is most important to be their friend. Someone to play with, someone to listen to them, and someone to be their friend!
My experience with special needs children...
I have volunteered with Special Olympics, and my last babysitting job was caring for a young girl with special needs. I saw her twice a week for over a year, and we worked on activities to increase her language output.
