More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I bring over 20 years of professional experience working with children, both in clinical and educational settings.
I hold a BS and a Master’s degree in other fields, and while my background is in Speech-Language Pathology and Accessibility Counseling, I am now pursuing my RN in nursing. During this transition, I’ve returned to professional nannying and babysitting, where I can combine my child development expertise with hands-on care.
I have extensive experience with infants through teens, including children with developmental and learning differences, and I’m known for being patient, reliable, and nurturing while creating safe, structured, and fun routines.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to stay actively engaged with kids and am a big supporter of minimal screen time. At the same time, I believe it’s important for children to have opportunities to play independently so they can learn how to structure their free time and build independence—with close supervision.
I love being outdoors in all kinds of weather, whether it’s going for walks, playing at the park, or exploring nature.
I also enjoy helping kids learn through daily routines, supporting them with their homework, and turning everyday moments into fun, hands-on learning opportunities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building strong rapport and relationships based on trust and respect.
My goal is always to keep children safe while also supporting them in learning new skills, developing independence, and growing in confidence. I value providing consistent social-emotional support, encouraging communication, and creating an environment where children feel secure, heard, and celebrated.
A nanny isn’t just a caregiver, but also a role model who helps children thrive both at home and in the world around them.

My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of special needs through both my professional background and childcare roles.
As a former Speech-Language Pathologist and Accessibility Counselor, I worked with children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and complex communication needs.
I also have experience supporting children with physical and mobility challenges, including those who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other adaptive equipment.
I am comfortable assisting with daily routines, promoting independence, and adapting activities to meet each child’s unique needs.
My focus is always on creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can thrive.
