Activities I enjoy doing with kids are swimming, board games, playing games outside, riding bikes, going for walks, playing with dolls or trucks or doing actives such as drawing, coloring, puzzles, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me about being nanny is being able to be the assistant to the parents and not just the kids. The main part is to watch the children and take care of them and their needs first but, I also make sure that the parents are helped as well whether it's household chores that are needed, or things that they need me to do such as going and running areas.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked in group homes and I also have babysat and done church daycare that have all had special needs children in them. I also had a younger brother who was autistic and I took care of him most of my life.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Though this isn't a specific memory, the best memory I have with the kids I babysit are when we start to gain that connection and they get to know who I am and when I walk in the door they're excited to see me.
