A little bit about me

My name is Courtney King I am 20 years old and I am currently a college student at CSU. I am working to earn my degree in health science and want to work as a nanny while I am not in class! I am the oldest sister of two younger siblings whom I helped in raising alongside my single mother most of my life. I am described as a very caring mother figure, very bubbly, and with a big heart. I go onto campus two days a week and I am available Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Weekends
I do not have any formal nanny experience but I have done a lot of babysitting for close friends and family members. I would love to start having the formal nannying experience to gain more hands-on opportunities.
I understand the hardships of life and what it can through at you so I want to be there as someone a family can look to and help their family in any way possible.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy learning about each individual child and their needs/interests. I like to formulate activities based on the child's interests and learning style so they can benefit from it and have fun!
I enjoy outdoor activities like the park, playgrounds, swimming, playing games in the yard, and also indoor activist like movies, imagination play, crafts and so much more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

is connecting with each child and making them feel safe and as if they can fully be themselves. I want to be someone a family can always look to when they need help whether it be with their child or general housework. Adjusting to becoming a new family can be extremely difficult and I want to aid in the process.
