More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 20 years of childcare experience- 13 here in NYC as a nanny/sitter and 8 as an assistant teacher in a preschool/daycare. I possess an AA from BMCC in Liberal Arts. I’m fully vaxxed and boosted, up to date CPR/first aid certified, and have excellent references available! I also have various childcare health and safety certifications through the DOH/DOE. I do have experience with children with both learning and physical disabilities. I have a background in theater and music (singing!), as well as instruction in theater for children. I speak some Spanish and am versed in some ASL. It is truly my passion in life to work with and care for children, and I give 100% of the best care and attentiveness to every child. I believe part of being a teacher is to nurture their awesome creativity and imagination while also keeping safety a top priority. I believe I would make a great fit for your family!

Arts and crafts, song and dance, puzzles, building, learning through play (colors, letters, numbers), reading,imaginary play, going to the playground, museums, and other child friendly activities in the city!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part to me about being a nanny is not just making sure a child is safe, their immediate needs met, and they have fun-but that they truly feel seen, heard, appreciated, their emotions and needs validated, and to feel truly cared for. That’s why for me being a nanny is not just a job, it is my life’s calling!

Two children I cared for for 7 years made a book about what they love most about me for my birthday. Chapter 6 was “Courtney taught us to always be kind to and care about others.” I instantly cried!
