A little bit about me

Working with children is my PASSION! It is my goal to leave a long-lasting positive impression on every child that I get the opportunity to interact with! I believe that a positive mindset and a passion for what you do is key to being an excellent caregiver. I have experience working with children ages 2 months to 5 years in a preschool setting. I also have experience working with children ages 9-12 nannying. My certifications include a Food Handlers License, SBS/Traumatic Brain Injury Certification, SIDS/SUID/AAP Safe Sleep Certification, and a Mandated Reporter License. My CPR and First Aid Certification has expired recently, however, I will be renewing those soon! I am fully vaccinated.

As for more about myself personally, I am 22 & current attending cosmetology school to become a licensed hairstylist. In my free time I enjoy reading, sitting by a toasty bonfire, and going shopping. While in school, my availability is Tues/Wed/Fri 5pm-10pm; Sat 4:30pm-1am; Sun/Mon 8am-10pm

I love doing arts and crafts, singing, reading, and playing outdoors at the park. I also enjoy taking the kids on adventures at places such as the zoo, museums, etc! I like to keep activities new and exciting to keep the children engaged and learning.

The most important part of being a nanny is having a passion for working with children. It is important to provide them with a safe and fun environment where they are able to feel comfortable learning and growing. With passion, it makes it easy to build a relationship with the children by being patient, caring, kind, and consistent. Children learn by example therefore it is important to model kindness, respect, compassion, and various other positive attributes on a daily basis.
