More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Last summer, I had the privilege of volunteering at a local daycare. Every morning I would arrive and help out with activities such as playing games, reading stories to the children, helping them with arts and crafts projects or simply just talking to them. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that taught me how important it is to give back to your community. Not only did I get satisfaction from knowing that my volunteer work was making a difference in these children's lives but also got invaluable lessons about patience, kindness and compassion for others

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love outdoor activities with kids. It's a great way to get them out of the house and into nature, where they can explore and learn about their environment. I also find that these types of activities are incredibly beneficial for physical health as well as mental wellbeing, running around outside helps children stay active while having fun, which is so important in this day and age when technology keeps us indoors more often than not. Playing outdoors gives children an opportunity to be creative in ways they may not have otherwise thought of, from building sandcastles on the beach or creating obstacle courses with sticks, it really opens up their minds!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is having the ability to form meaningful relationships with the children in your care. As a nanny, you are responsible for providing love and guidance to these young minds as they navigate through their childhood. You must be patient, understanding, and able to effectively communicate with both parents and children alike. Also, t is essential that you have an open mind when it comes to different parenting styles so that everyone involved can benefit from your presence in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have any experience with special needs kids, but one day I hope to be able to work with them and provide support. It would be incredibly rewarding for me to make a difference in the lives of children who may not otherwise have access to adequate resources or support. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential regardless of their abilities, so it's something that is important for me personally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny/day moment was when I took my two kids to the park. We had so much fun running around, playing tag and laughing together. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and it felt like we were in our own little world for a few hours. It was such a special moment that I'll always remember fondly, just me, my kids and nature enjoying each other's company!
